Job Overview
The Corporate Treasury Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the bank’s liquidity, funding, and risk mitigation strategies. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for daily cash management, forecasting, and the execution of treasury transactions that align with the bank’s strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with the risk, finance, and business development teams to ensure optimal capital allocation and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity across all accounts.
- Prepare accurate cash flow forecasts and report variances to senior management.
- Execute foreign exchange, money market, and securities transactions in line with approved strategies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of treasury policies, procedures, and risk limits.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to assess market, credit, and operational risks.
- Support the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with Central Bank of Cameroon guidelines.
- Analyze funding requirements and recommend optimal financing structures.
- Participate in the evaluation of investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
- Provide analytical support for senior management during strategic decision‑making.
- Maintain accurate records of all treasury activities and ensure timely reconciliation.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in financial modeling.
- In‑depth knowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, and liquidity risk.
- Excellent command of MS Excel; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to collaborate across departments.
- Understanding of Cameroonian banking regulations and international best practices.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or a similar finance function within a banking or corporate environment. Experience with multinational banking operations or exposure to African markets will be considered a strong asset.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000,000 to 350,000,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives aligned with the bank’s results.
