Job Overview

The Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all vehicles produced at the Dschang plant meet Toyota’s stringent quality standards and comply with local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols for vehicle components and final assemblies.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness through follow‑up audits.
• Collaborate with design engineers, production supervisors, and suppliers to ensure specifications are met from concept to delivery.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and Cameroonian automotive regulations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, warranty claims, and customer satisfaction metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance product reliability.
• Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper documentation practices.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, non‑conformances, and corrective actions in the quality management system.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, statistical process control, and failure mode analysis.
• Proficiency with quality management software (e.g., QMS, Minitab) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Education
