Job Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments and developing strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of development projects on the environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and policy, as well as experience working with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable development projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for development projects
- Develop strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of development projects on the environment
- Work with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable development projects
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in environmental science, policy, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience working in environmental conservation or a related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies and tools
- Experience working with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable development projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education
