Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Conservation Biologist to join our team in Limbe, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing conservation strategies for marine ecosystems in Cameroon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine biology, conservation biology, or a related field, and experience working in a similar role. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement conservation strategies for marine ecosystems in Cameroon
• Conduct research and monitoring programs to inform conservation efforts
• Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote conservation
• Develop and manage project budgets and reports
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in marine biology, conservation biology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of marine ecosystems and conservation principles
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
