Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that all products manufactured at our Edéa facility meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and monitoring production processes to prevent deviations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols for all production lines.
- Conduct regular audits of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with ISO and HACCP standards.
- Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing efficiency without compromising quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all quality testing and inspection results.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities regarding manufacturing deviations.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to zero-defect manufacturing.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory. Professional certification in Quality Management is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Experience in the food and beverage industry is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise. This is a competitive package designed to attract top talent in the region.
