Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Bafoussam, Cameroon. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental impact assessment and management, with experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist will be responsible for leading environmental impact assessments and developing environmental management plans for clients in various sectors, including energy, transportation, and mining.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental impact assessments and develop environmental management plans for clients in various sectors
- Conduct site visits and fieldwork to collect data and information for environmental impact assessments
- Develop and implement environmental monitoring and management plans
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and mitigate environmental risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Cameroon
- Excellent communication and project management skills
