Job Overview
The Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead the development, submission, and maintenance of regulatory dossiers for all Pfizer products marketed or planned for introduction in Cameroon. Reporting to the Regional Regulatory Director, the role ensures that all activities comply with the National Agency for Drugs (ANM), the African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH) guidelines, and global Pfizer standards. The manager will act as the primary liaison between Pfizer, local health authorities, and external partners, driving strategic regulatory initiatives that support product launches, lifecycle management, and post‑marketing surveillance. This position is critical for safeguarding product quality, patient safety, and market access, making it a cornerstone of Pfizer’s mission in Cameroon. The role also contributes to the broader goal of enhancing employment in Cameroon and supporting the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory dossiers for new product registrations, variations, and renewals in compliance with ANM and AMRH requirements.
- Develop and maintain regulatory strategies aligned with Pfizer’s global policies and local market needs.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Marketing to gather necessary documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with Cameroonian health authorities, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor changes in local and regional regulatory legislation and advise internal stakeholders on impact.
- Lead preparation of post‑marketing safety reports, pharmacovigilance updates, and risk management plans.
- Provide regulatory training and mentorship to junior staff and local partners.
- Support business development activities by assessing regulatory feasibility of new product opportunities.
Required Skills
