Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commodity Trading Manager to join our team in Foumban, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our commodity trading activities in Cameroon, including buying and selling commodities, managing risk, and developing new business opportunities. As a Commodity Trading Manager at Cargill, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of commodities, including grains, oilseeds, and other agricultural products. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and developing trading strategies to maximize profits and minimize risk. You will also work closely with our logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of commodities to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commodity trading activities in Cameroon, including buying and selling commodities and managing risk
- Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profits and minimize risk
- Analyze market trends and make recommendations for trading activities
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of commodities to customers
- Develop new business opportunities and build relationships with customers and suppliers
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or agriculture
- At least 5 years of experience in commodity trading or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
