Job Overview

The Data Center Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the data center, including facilities management, maintenance, and repairs. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Data Center Operations Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the data center, including facilities management, maintenance, and repairs
• Ensure the highest level of uptime, security, and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective data center operations
• Manage and supervise a team of data center operations staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Required Skills

• Strong technical background in data center operations, including experience with data center infrastructure, electrical and mechanical systems, and network architecture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and supervise a team of staff

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in data center operations, including experience in a management role.
