Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Project Coordinator to join our team in Buea, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of renewable energy projects in Cameroon. This will involve working closely with our local teams, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for renewable energy development and to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The Renewable Energy Project Coordinator will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, preparing project proposals, and coordinating the permitting and approval process for our renewable energy projects. They will also be responsible for managing project budgets, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring that our projects are compliant with local regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and implementation of renewable energy projects in Cameroon
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project proposals
- Manage project budgets and coordinate with contractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards
- Collaborate with local teams, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for renewable energy development
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, environmental science)
- At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
- Strong project management skills and experience with project coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines
