Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Cartography Specialist to join our team in Maroua, Cameroon. As a Digital Cartography Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and updating maps, analyzing geospatial data, and developing cartographic products for environmental monitoring and conservation projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and update maps and cartographic products using geospatial data and software
  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement cartographic standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cartographic products into environmental monitoring and conservation projects
  • Provide technical support and training to users of cartographic products

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cartography, geography, and geospatial analysis
  • Proficiency in cartographic software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
