PERSONAL STATEMENT
Holder of a postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Engineering with major in Agroeconomics and Rural Sociology with more than 20 years of professional experience across various specializations. Focus has been on Project/Programme Management, elaboration of training modules, Coordinating Capacity Building programs, stakeholder engagement, risk management, need assessment, research skills, data management, management of logistics and assets, coordination and management of livelihood projects, elaboration of project proposals and business plans, sourcing for funding, and management of microfinance/credit schemes. I have actively participated in the identification, conceptualization, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of diverse projects.
Certified as a trainer in Agricultural Counselling through the consortium of Ambre Consil / CER France / Montpellier SupAgro under the PCP-ACEFA Programme (Programme for consolidation and sustainability of Agropastoral Counselling). Holder of a Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation of projects, coupled with a proficient command of Information Technology.
I have held lead consultant positions in the development of plans, as well as monitoring and evaluating projects and programs. Result-oriented, diligent, and hardworking, I am skilled at integrating seamlessly and maintaining objectivity in my work. A five-time recipient of the Best Workers Award from different institutions, I am self-motivated and skilled in human resource management.
Served as the head of the PCP-ACEFA program in Mezam Division, oversaw a team of 53 staff members. My expertise extends to fundraising, developing and overseeing business plans, managing agricultural credits and finances, navigating agricultural policies, overseeing grants and donor relations, agricultural extension, crop and livestock production, rural development, farmers’ organizations, studies, training, evaluations, strategic planning, result capitalization, drafting terms of references, contracts, open/restricted calls for tenders or bidders, and research and development.
Recognition includes:
Ø A letter of encouragement from his excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development for my dedication, professionalism and tangible contribution to agricultural development and food security in the North West Region; awarded during the 2025 new year wishes session to the Minister on the 3rd of February 2026;
Ø The Perseverance and Impact Award for the 2022 session, acknowledging my silent contributions to the lives of Farmer Organizations in Mezam Division. This honour was bestowed by the Voice Newspaper on August 5, 2023, at Hotel Polyva in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Currently serving as the Sub Regional Delegate for Agricultural Development North West and the Focal Point Crop production within the framework of the Emergency Project to Combat the Food Crisis in Cameroon (PULCCA) Project and a lead consultant with AIRD Cameroon. Lead trainer on rice production techniques within the framework of the Rice Value Chain Development Project.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF BAFUT:
Ø August 2000: Protocol President Biya’s Youth – Agyati Bafut
Ø 15th August 2026: Elected National Financial Secretary of Bafut Elites Association
Ø Elaborated and financed 21 Agropastoral Business plans in Bafut Sub Division to the tune of 102,243,314 FCFA within the framework of the PCP-ACEFA Programme in Mezam.
Ø Created Adult Literacy Centres in Akossia and Mfonta area for the empowerment of Widows
Ø In 2008 I Mobilised and Registered 12 Widows Groups in Bafut Sub Division as Common Initiative Groups.
Ø Mobilised and celebrated the world AIDS Day with All Primary Schools within the Mforya Zone under the patronage of the Inspector of Basic Education.
