Job Overview

The Learning Experience Designer will lead the creation of engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant digital learning modules for K‑12 and higher‑education audiences in Cameroon. Working closely with subject‑matter experts, product managers, and technology teams, you will design instructional strategies that align with curriculum standards and leverage the latest ed‑tech tools. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype interactive e‑learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with local educators and curriculum specialists to ensure content relevance and alignment with Cameroon’s educational standards.
• Integrate multimedia elements—videos, simulations, assessments—to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback from teachers, students, and stakeholders.
• Maintain a repository of reusable learning assets and ensure compliance with branding and accessibility guidelines.
• Monitor emerging trends in education technology and recommend innovative solutions to improve learning outcomes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
• Strong command of e‑learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, concise, and engaging learning experiences.
• Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset and a passion for educational innovation.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of proven experience designing digital learning solutions for K‑12 or higher‑education settings. Experience working in multilingual environments and familiarity with the Cameroonian education system will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 250,000 to 350,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
