Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecommunications Network Architect to join our team in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications network infrastructure, ensuring high-quality and reliable services to our customers.

The Senior Telecommunications Network Architect will work closely with our network operations team to identify and resolve network issues, optimize network performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications network infrastructure, including network architecture, topology, and protocols
• Collaborate with network operations team to identify and resolve network issues, optimize network performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and implement network architecture and design standards, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
• Conduct network performance analysis and optimization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance network efficiency and reliability
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, architecture documents, and technical specifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in telecommunications network architecture and design
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications network protocols, including TCP/IP, MPLS, and BGP
• Experience with network architecture and design tools, including Cisco Works, NetBrain, and Graphite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Experience

5-10 years of experience in telecommunications network architecture and design
