Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Livestock Specialist to join our team in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our livestock development programs, with a focus on sustainable livestock production and animal health.
The Sustainable Livestock Specialist will work closely with our local partners and communities to develop and implement sustainable livestock production systems, improve animal health, and increase access to markets for livestock products.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to our livestock development programs, with a focus on sustainable livestock production and animal health.
- Develop and implement sustainable livestock production systems, in collaboration with local partners and communities.
- Improve animal health through the development and implementation of animal health programs.
- Increase access to markets for livestock products, through the development of market linkages and value chains.
- Work closely with local partners and communities to develop and implement sustainable livestock production systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable livestock production and animal health.
- Strong technical knowledge of sustainable livestock production systems and animal health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with local partners and communities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in sustainable livestock production and animal health.
