Job Overview

Cameroon Job Search is proud to announce the availability of an IT Project Manager position at IBM in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements. You will also be responsible for managing project risks, issues, and changes, and for ensuring that all project stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and ensure that all project stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate and lead project team members, including IT staff, contractors, and external partners.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
