Job Overview
The Cultural Event Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of large-scale cultural festivals, workshops, and exhibitions in Ngaoundal. This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise in cross-cultural collaboration, event logistics, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement culturally significant events that highlight regional traditions, music, and art.
- Coordinate with local artisans, performers, and community leaders to ensure authentic representation.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts for festivals and exhibitions.
- Develop partnerships with international cultural organizations for collaborative projects.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure impact and community engagement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event planning with a focus on cultural or heritage events.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and budgeting software.
