Job Overview

AccorHotels Cameroon is seeking a driven Hotel Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization strategies for one of our flagship properties in Douala. This role is pivotal in maximizing profitability through data-driven pricing, demand forecasting, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics and industry expertise to ensure competitive positioning in Cameroon’s growing hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and overall profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns using revenue management systems (RMS) and data analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue goals with business strategies.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies in real-time to respond to market fluctuations and seasonal demand.
  • Prepare comprehensive revenue reports and present insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and revenue management best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management or related roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Duetto, or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of hospitality software, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Understanding of hotel operations, including sales, marketing, and guest service standards.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced certifications in revenue management (e.g., CRM, CSM) are a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in hotel revenue management, preferably in a managerial or analytical role within the hospitality sector.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 XAF per month, commensurate with experience and performance.
