Job Overview
As a Sustainable Food Supply Chain Specialist, you will design and implement strategies to optimize Danone’s agricultural sourcing processes while ensuring environmental and social sustainability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sustainable sourcing programs for raw materials like dairy, fruits, and grains.
- Collaborate with local farmers to improve yield quality and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor supply chain compliance with Danone’s sustainability standards and certifications.
- Conduct audits to identify inefficiencies and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
Required Skills
- Expertise in supply chain optimization and risk management.
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and certifications (e.g., Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance).
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agricultural Economics, or related field.
- Master’s degree or certification in Sustainability Management preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or agricultural operations.
- Proven track record in implementing sustainability initiatives.
- Experience working in emerging markets or with smallholder farmers is an advantage.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
