Job Overview
Pearson Education Cameroon is seeking a dynamic E-Learning Content Developer to design and deliver interactive digital educational materials for primary and secondary schools. This role is pivotal in advancing Cameroon’s transition to modern, tech-integrated education systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to create engaging, curriculum-aligned e-learning modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interactive e-learning modules using platforms like Moodle, Articulate, or Adobe Captivate.
- Collaborate with Cameroonian educators to align content with national curriculum standards.
- Integrate multimedia elements (videos, animations, quizzes) to enhance student engagement.
- Conduct user testing and refine content based on feedback from teachers and students.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards for inclusive education.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and curriculum design.
- Experience in creating content for K-12 education or vocational training.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Cameroonian educational frameworks and challenges.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. A Master’s Degree in Educational Technology is an asset.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in e-learning content development, preferably in an educational or non-profit sector.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 XAF per month, commensurate with experience.
