The Supply Chain Manager will lead end‑to‑end logistics, procurement, and inventory management for Nestlé’s manufacturing and distribution operations in the Southwest region. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Nestlé’s corporate objectives and local market demands.
- Oversee procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate production planning, inventory control, and distribution logistics to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of planners, analysts, and logistics coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rate, inventory turnover, and transportation cost per unit, and drive corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customs requirements, and Nestlé’s internal standards throughout the supply chain.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other best‑practice methodologies.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Effective communication skills in French and English.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and local regulatory frameworks.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or PMP are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, preferably with exposure to food and beverage operations. Demonstrated success in managing large‑scale procurement, inventory, and distribution functions is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 1,200,000 to 1,800,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based incentives, health benefits, and a retirement plan.
